Sqsh has evolved for nearly seven years now, and wouldn't be where
it is now were it not for the help of a bunch of people, not all
of which are listed here.
As I have mentioned several times already, sqsh has stagnated quite
a bit over the last couple of years, due to my duties elsewhere.
During this time, there have been several of you that have
contributed documentation updates, fixes, and enhancements that
may or may not be in this release. Unfortunately, many of the
these updates were lost a while back when I toasted my mail archive.
If this is the case, I would like to thank you for taking the time
to help out, and encourage you to re-send any such changes you
have laying around.
The following is a list of people that have supplied help, patches,
or encouragement in one form or another (it probably isn't a complete
list...I'm still working on it).
- Pablo Sanchez
For working with me so diligently in tracking down the
bugs in relationship to SGI IRIX, and for putting up with
me taunting him about his hardware (pansy-ass IRIX user!--
Just Kidding!!). Also, thanks for maintaining the Sybase
Sybase FAQ
for lo those many years.
- Vadim
Beloborodov
For giving me the final clues as to how to get sqsh
to run properly under Cygwin32.
- Bob Stent
for letting me steal ideas from qisql, yet another
isql replacement.
- Dan Roitman
For various patches and suggestions (see ChangeLog).
- Steve Etchelecu
For allowing me to steal tips tricks and ideas from his
ctsql-1.4 CT-Lib isql replacement.
- Helmut Ruholl
For lots of bug reports and good suggestions (not all of which
have I gotten around to implementing).
- Robert Donat
For bug reports and supplying pre-built binaries.
- GNU
and The Free Software Foundation for gcc, m4 (how else do
you think I maintain this home page?), autoconf, RCS, CVS,
etc.
- Cygnus Solutions
For their cygwin32 porting kit.
